Teachers give so much all year to make sure their students are learning and thriving. Oftentimes neglecting themselves. They can’t pour from an empty cup, y’all! Do you have a special teacher in your life that deserves an amazing gift? I have some ideas for you…all of these gifts I personally would be thrilled to receive. Hint, hint sweet husband!
Tervis Tumbler
Give the gift of keeping a teacher’s favorite drink perfect- whether it is hot or cold. Tervis tumblers come in 16oz and 24oz sizes to choose from and limitless designs. Just a hint, the 16oz fits under a Keurig Coffee Machine whereas the 24oz doesn’t. It just depends on what kind of drink your favorite teacher prefers. If you know they have a Keurig at home or school, I’d suggest purchasing the the 16oz Tervis. If they have a regular coffee pot or drink cold beverages, I’d choose the 24oz.
Starbucks Gift Card
This one is pretty self-explanatory. I mean, what teacher doesn’t enjoy a treat from Starbucks? If you want to check out a discount website to actually purchase gift cards for up to 35% off, try PlasticJungle, Cardpool, or Gift Card Granny. I personally haven’t used one of these gift card exchanges but if you are looking for a deal, it’s worth a shot!
Wireless/Bluetooth speakers
Wireless speakers could be a great gadget to implement in the classroom to listen to audio clips, music, and take brain breaks throughout the day. In the summer, teachers can grab their speakers and hit the beach or alternate adventure.
Cellphone extra battery pack
What’s worse that your cell phone dying? Not much! Teachers are using their cell phones during the school day to enhance instruction. Many use their camera on their phone to grade papers, conduct formative assessments, and document student progress. Since the day is so busy, having a cellphone charger/battery pack will ensure teachers can keep on teaching. Plus, it will come in handy outside of the school day- on the beach and during the occasional shopping spree.
Gift card to TeachersPayTeachers
I know that gift cards seem impersonal or somehow the “easy way out” but here’s the thing, buying a gift card to TeachersPayTeachers is potentially saving your teacher hours of prep work. The materials available on TeachersPayTeachers are high quality and created by teachers themselves. In return for an amazing product, you are also supporting teacherpreneurs.
